Kashojwa A, Nakivale Refugee Settlement
Jean Baptiste Songolo Lulinda found safety in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Uganda in 2017. Faced with the suffering of vulnerable refugees, he and his colleagues developed the Maria Foundation. Their programs: Reproductive Health; Creating a Culture of Peace; Gender Equality; Social/Economic Rehabilitation; and Permaculture. In addition, the community is joining with other communities within the ICP City-to-City Collaboration Program.
